WebPlus has an internal FTP client that makes it easy to upload and maintain your web sites.
After setting your FTP details within WebPlus you can do a full upload initially and then incremental uploads there after letting WebPlus manage the adding and deleting of files.
Contact your host for your web site and collect all the information that is required to connect to your account on their FTP server. You may have been sent an email when first signing up for this service with these details.
It is a good idea even before your ready to publish your site online to set up and test your FTP account.
Select the “Publish to Web” button on the standard tool bar. Or Ctrl + F5 or File > Publish site > Publish to Web
When the Publish to web dialogue box appears, select the “Account” button at which point an “Account details” dialogue box will show ready to fill in with your connection details.
If a window named “upload to server” appears select the “Add” button to get to the “Account details” dialogue box. This may appear if you have details already set up.

Checking your connection
Once you have set up all your details, OK out of the “account details” window and back to the “upload to server” window. Make sure you select the account you have just set up in the top box and then select the “Test” button.
If the details have been correctly set you should receive the message “The connection was successfully established”. If you do not get this message check the details of the account you have set up.
Even though you may have successfully established a connection you may encounter trouble uploading, if this is the case try un-checking “Passive mode” in the “Account Details” window
Additional and editing accounts
If you need to add additional FTP account details select the “Add” button in the “upload to server” window and fill in your details. If you are going to upload to a different folder on your site for testing purposes you can select the “Copy” button of an account and alter the folder. Make sure to select the correct account when uploading.
If you require to change any of the details select the “Edit” button of the account.
